Little Lions (Toddlers)

Toddlers are ferocious explorers and the setup of our Little Lions Toddler room celebrates this exploration. The room is full of exciting zones to ensure each child is fully engaged throughout the day; a wet/messy play zone, creative area, construction areas and role play, as well as a wealth of engaging table top activities for them to enjoy.

Our Little Lions enjoy a balance of child-led play with adult-initiated learning, designed to develop your child’s personal, social and emotional development, their communication and language and their physical confidence.  Our children are carefully tracked through their interactions with our Nursery team and through observations and this monitoring ensures every child has the support they need to meet their individually identified next steps.

Suited and booted there is no weather that would keep us indoors as there is so much to learn from the grounds at Bilton Grange. In the spring, we seek out the growing tadpoles in the Science pond, watch the wriggly caterpillars on the stinging nettles in the Butterfly Garden and enjoy planting our own vegetables in the Organic Garden. Every season brings opportunities for learning, but our Little Lions love to get muddy and explore outside.
