Our children are at the centre of every aspect of the design of Little Grange Nursery. We have opened up the rooms to create three light, bright spaces where each age group of Little Grange Learners, from six months to five years, can explore and play.
Resources and furnishings are designed for each age group ensuring that activities are independently accessible, even for our youngest children. All transitions are bespoke to your child with children progressing when they are developmentally ready. The setup of each room is designed to support child-initiated, play-based learning and to meet the aims of our five key themes and the Early Years framework.
Our three rooms are Curious Cubs (Babies), Little Lions (Toddlers) and Rangers (Pre-School). Depending on your chosen pathway on from Little Grange, we will work with you to ensure your child has the boost they need to be a confident school starter. Our Rangers on the Primary School Pathway will enjoy our school readiness programme, where we work with our local schools to ensure a joined academic step up, but also some transitional elements that could make all the difference to your child’s start at school.
